Larnaca Desalination Pipeline

EDT Marine Construction, an EDT Group company, was the prime contractor in the manufacturing and installation of special concrete weights on a pipeline for the Larnaca Desalination Plant in Cyprus.

The pipelines consisted of six pieces of 500m lengths with a diameter of 1.60m. EDT Marine Construction manufactured the concrete weights and clamped them onto the pipes before EDT Offshore vessels towed them to location in three lengths of 1000m each, where they were successfully positioned and submerged.
